On older versions of Mac OS X and macOS you would have needed to partition your Mac, while in more modern versions of the Mac operating system you create a volume. IMVU for Mac is built for Intel based OS X systems with 2GB of RAM or better. In your case, you are attempting to run it on an older PowerPC model. Since they don't support this architecture there is no way to get this app to run on your Mac. I'm sorry to have to tell you the above but this is a programming limitation rather than a specific issue.

● Steps to install

Click Open.
Drag the IMVU logo onto your Applications folder to begin installation.
A pop up window will appear informing you that the IMVU Desktop App is installing.
After installation, right click on IMVU installer (on your Desktop) and then on Eject “IMVU”. Now, you can delete the .dmg file from your “Downloads” folder.
● Launch IMVU Desktop App
- Double click on the IMVU icon in your Applications folder or open Launchpad to launch the IMVU Desktop App.
- You will be asked to open it, click Open.
